Loft Insulation

I have fitted rolls of insulation between th fllor joists and boarded it out and now plan to plasterboard the rafters but will need to fit insulation before i do ,can I put rolls of insulation in between the rafters then fit plasterboard but will this have a affect on the air flow ,if yes how do I get around it.................thanks

use a partial fill, rigid insulation?

is the roofing membrane breathable or standard sarking felt?

Not sure,it has the old black felt with batterns and tiled

then i should go with a partial fill rigid type. don't push the inso' all the way up to the lathes. leave an air gap.

Thanks noseall, I was just reading up about using a foil barrier that comes in a roll which you can staple on to the joists before fitting the plasterboard...........i was thinking of doing this also or it that going ott

any condensation busting additions will only benefit.
