loft light kit

Yeah I know but I have it wired in now and its working great. I just thought I go with the installation diagram that came with it. Also i felt that trying to add a 3rd cable into the ceiling rose left it a bit cramped looking so the junction box keeps the installation all tidy. Although I have one to do for the loft in our garage so I will use method A on that installation to build a little confidence. Thanks again everyone.
 
I'm surprised they still make those type of battenholders which don't come with a pattress or back plate.
