hello,
Winter is comming. :)
So We decided to turn our heating on.
Just moved in to new house. I had a go with winter mode procedure. So burner light blinks ones and goes off. Boiler works for few mins but no burner light at all. After few mins stops and that’s it . Hot woter is fine. Water pressure is fine. No other issues then that. Have old Honywell thermostat with 2 wires only. Any ideas ?

Does the “C” show in the display planet when you turn the heating on

Sounds like your like thermostat isnt sending a signal to turn your boiler on.

You should get C when heating is on.

Faulty thermostat or the dial could be broken

So when is 0 means thermostat works fine? What can be wrong ? Is it pcb ?
How to chec without openning the boiler ?

d is for hot water C is for heating.

Without it showing C it’s not getting a heating demand.

Call a gas engineer to have a look

What can cause it and what can be rough cost please ? Thank u

You could try linking the wires at the thermostat end. See if that brings the C on.

With the power off though.

No idea what it would cost to get someone out. Everyone chargers differently.

Ok Sorted.
I would like to share this knowledge.
What happened was the last knob (reset and settings) snapped.
When pcb removed could see broken part.
Maybe someone will have same problem.
Thanks

That’s what I said in my second post

It’s quite common
