Looking for advice on painting over Sadolin oil based wood stain

We have tried Zinsser 123 plus but it's horrible to use it really really thin and go's everywhere.

we thought that Bedec Multi surface paint might be ok .

They say it covers everything, including old Tar based paints but nowhere does it say it paints over Oil based?
Has anyone used this on sadolin wood stain?
or could you advise anything else please.

sand back the surface, then zinsser 123 as you have done so. yes its thin, but it is good, if you can use a roller. it only goes everywhere if you over load the brush.

it is very good stuff their is a reason almost everyone advises the zinsser 123. i would advise on persevering with it,
