Loose Patio slab

I have 1 loose slab in the middle of a large patio.
I've lifted it and the cement base is in good condition but approx 3 inches thick.
Rather than trying to dig out the existing base and risk loosening or damaging the slabs around it. Is there a construction adhesive I could use to simply stick it back down.
i.e No More Nails, Sticks like Sh*t or something similar ?

Lay a little bit of loose sand to level it up.

There is a silicone sealant, CT-1 that a lot of builders rave on about though don't know if this would be suitable.

Can you not just use some sand & cement to stick it back down again? Clean any old stuff off the slab and replace with new sand & cement if the base cement is still sound.

Here's an idea : drill as many holes as you can inthe cementbase. Drilling is less likely to disturb adjacent slabs than hammer and bolster. Try not to use hammer action in the drill. Then fill the holes with new mortar to set the loose slab. Pointing the gaps will also help stabalise the slab.

The first time i did a patio ( small area about 1.5 x 1.5m for a bbq) i used slablayer and about 5 slabs didnt stick!!

Rather than redo the whole thing i stuck them down with pinkgrip and they are still ok 4 years later!

The alternative would be to score the concrete base and back slab with an angle grinder then use a cement mixed with sbr slurry to re bed.

I did that job to one patio slab I had loose only two days ago. Removed the slab, removed the pointing from adjacent slabs with a bolster, scraped a bit of the hardened sand away, used a bit of fresh sand to bed the slab on and repointed it. Been good for a whole two days which is a record for me.
