Loss of hot water

Hello, please can someone help. I need some guidance on how to fix our mixer tap in the kitchen. It now has no hot water and from reading other posts I think its a washer or furry pipes. I have a combi boiler so from what i've read I can rule out air bubble. My problem is I don't know where to start on changing the washer. Please can someone give me some guidance. remove the caps from the top of the handles

remove the screws underneath

unscrew the shrouds / headgear

This going to sound like a silly question but do you have to switch the water off or anything?

Depends how wet you want to get, otherwise definitely a good plan

Could be a faulty or blocked tap.

Or a kinked /collapsed flexi. hose feeding the tap...
