I just bought a house with the kitchen moved to the new build extension but the electrics seem to be half finished. I managed to restore power to all lights and sockets but I dont seem to find a cooker cable point. I've checked in the old and the new kitchen rooms but nothing. There is a 32A fuse in the consumer unit with a 6mm cable going somewhere through the plasterboard walls but where. It is not the shower one, I've checked. I'm sure it is the cooker one as nothing is affected if i remove the fuse. How do i find where it goes?

Find a sunny day

Switch Off all breakers except the one that supplies the cable that you are looking for.

Take a power cable/stud detector and search for an electric cable in the
areas you expect the cable to be.

Cable found, Hopefully
