I was doing some general work in a house this week for some folk who had just bought the place (extra sockets, etc)

In an outside brick area the previous owners had built a shower/wet room with a Triton shower.

Now, the whole environment was just plain nasty and must have been b freezing in February.
The icing on the cake was the attractive light feature on the wall opposite the shower.

Well, I suppose it was IP44 rated :(

Just looking at that pipework... normally if its DIY you'd expect to see yorkshire fittings, would you not? :?

Maybe DIY lekky, professional plumber........

The electric feed comes in the top of the Triton just sealed with a dot of silicone. The feed then goes thru the wall above the shower. Dont know why they didnt bring it thru the wall into the back of the Triton.

You can top entry most showers with cable and pipe - they have internal trip covers - the cables goes down, turns 180 and back up.

Many cheapy installs end up with some MMT4 trunk from loft for the cable and pipe. Typical council house job!
