Hi Boys & Girls,

Possibly a basic question, sorry !

I am hoping to replace my toilet and cistern with an Armitage Shanks Sandringham pan and cistern.

The line drawing shows a total height of 1010mm to top of cistern.

Is it possible to lower the cistern / shorten flush pipe so that I can fit under a window ledge? I need a total height of around 900mm

Thank you in advance for your advice.

OP, you have confused everyone by the title by saying low level cistern. The toilet you are talking about isn't low level, as suggested it is a closed coupled toilet and such the height is fixed.

If you are actually installing a low level cistern with a flush pipe then yes you can drop the cistern height a little to fit under a window sill by shortening the pipe.

It also says

Toilet Total Height 775mm

I wonder what WC you are looking at?

If the OP means the Sandringham 21 Magnia Low Level Toilet
the flush pipe can be shortened as Madrab says.

As an alternative the OP could excavate a 200mm hole and drop the pan in to achieve the dimensions required.
