Hi,

I've just got back off of holiday to discover that my water pressure has dropped to 0.7 and both the hot and cold water is dribbling out of the taps.

I tried opening the filling loop on my boiler (Glow Worm Flexicom 30cx) by opening up both the valves, but nothing happens. I can't even hear water coming into the system.

Completely at a loss about this one and loathed to call a plumber because it's probably something easily rectified.

Please help!

Did you turn the mains stop cock off when you went on hoilday?

Do you have mains water at the kitchen sink?

Nope, didn't turn off the mains before I went. Was only away for a week.

The kitchen taps are no better.

Also, there's NO water now. Not even a dribble. This is despite the pressure showing on the boiler as 0.7.

You reckon it's a mains problem?

Check your mains stop cock is turned on, if it is on then the kitchen and garden taps should be working.

If not then check your neighbour has water.

Oh, hang on...

Just found out from my Mother-in-law that the whole of our bit of Enfield is out.

Looks like my holiday just got longer. :)

Thanks for the help, fella.
