Advice please.

Friend sold their house a few months back and now the new owners are claiming £500-00 for fixing the lights on the decking. One group of lights had failed which I assume suggests a transformer has failed. From memory there are 12 to 15 lights (the walk over type) in the decking.

Assuming that they all had to be replaced is £500-00 a realistical price?

We cannot say.

However, if the lights were working at the time of sale, I say buyer beware....

could say the lights are only meant to be walked over not for kids to jump on with a pogo stick.

just doesn't have the same ring to it as F*** Off does it

could always tell them it was their perogative to change them, it not your fault the got ripped off or brought more expensive lights

Bulbs can fail at any time so can transformers the new owners have no comeback whatsoever.

My advice would be to tell them to ^$*&%£"^*()*&@'!$"

(technical jargon)
