A couple of times I drove past a pub called 'The Black boy' and the Inn sign portrayed a young black boy, I can't remember where it was but I'll take a stab at somewhere between Maidenhead and Henley, somewhere in that neck of the woods. I found it a little surprising and that would have been in the 80's or 90's.

There's (or used to be) a Black boy pub on Black boy hill in Bristol.
