magnaclean filters

Can anyone point me in the direction of where to buy the new casings for magnacleans? one i have is an older one and dont want to fit it then the lid goes pop!

and anyone know roughly how much they are?

The body and the top screw on part of the Magnaclean can only be used as a matched pair. You cannot interchange them.

Does anyone know why they say that, it's not as if they put a different thread on some is it.

cant answer that one, but i know the rework kits lids have different keys to the origionals

I think they said its because each "batch" was made of the same grade/mix plastic and if you mix batches then the lid/top and case can have differing rates of expansion and cause to lids to jam/seize and worst case scenario leak.
