The fuse carrier for my main fuse has 60A marked on it, dont want to have to pull it to see what it actually is but is there another way to tell what the fuse rating is (ie, will REC tell me over phone?). If it is only 60A then what is the procedure for getting it upgraded?

Write to the electricity company under the ESQCR 2002. requirements, and they should respond within a couple of months.

I am waiting for a response on the very same subject - for approximately a couple of months - fingers crossed. (EDF - London Energy)

if it blows then while you have them there ask for it to be upgraded there is a fair chance they will just swap it to 100A there and then

if it doesn't blow just leave it
