Hi guys, I am lowering my hall ceiling so that I can fit 5 Mains halogen lights. Can't get access above as we are a bottom flat. At present we have a Fluorescent light, How do I configure the wiring prior to putting the plasterboard up? My electrician pal was supposed to do it but has taken ill.
Cheers Grant

same for you too, its on all pages

Found it just after I posted, still don't know what i'm looking for, not a clue regarding electrics but have no intention of attemping the fitting, just the roughing.

well put some sting in from light to light to make pulling the cables in easier (no, i am not joking)

No that sounds sensible, I was going to obviously take down the fluorescent and fix a pendant. Would I just run a string for each light from the pendant area?

you will also need to leave access to the ceiling rose to which the pendant is fitted
