It's a personal thing, I just don't like seeing the pipes on the floor. I want them all to come out of the wall.

I had a really naughty plan to just channel up a short way from the floor with John Guest then use brass compression fittings in a little hollow in the wall so I could have chrome pipe come out of the wall. I even thought about putting one of those electric back boxes in the wall and mod it so the compression fitting was in there and the pipe left the wall from what looked a bit like a TV cable panel (it meant leaking water could escape and you'd have easy access to change the fitting) :)

Any better ideas other than "don't bother"? :) I am going to do this one way or the other so getting it right is a good thing.

How would YOU do it? I will make it happen one way or the other because I am too stubborn to not do it, but not necessarily clever enough to do it properly.

Doing it without destroying the building would be greatly pleasing.

Nothing to stop you if this is the way you want to go - just be aware that copper doesn't like contact with cement or plaster etc so run them in a duct, lag them or similar.
Chrome pipe doesn't like solder, and push on fittings even less, so use compression types with sealant to be on the safe side.
John :)
