Make my floor higher! Abracadabra!! -I have a cunning plan

You'll regret using chipboard in the long run, the most horrible product ever invented (and loved by builder because it is cheap). It can/will sag and creak over time.
Use plywood for your cunning plan.

Your floor in the middle room is 3cm lower than the others. I presume you've measured this difference including the floor covering in these rooms?

Best is to level your middle room to the height of the underfloor of the other rooms, the more flexible you (or future owners) of the house are later on (when you get tired of the laminate floor).

What's the difference between the real underfloors in the rooms?

Oh well. that's told me then .

If you would care to split the hair more than once . what's the difference between superb insulation and stunning U-value ?

Do please keep us up-to-date with your satisfaction with your floors, particularly the cost-effectiveness of your UFH.

Regards
