Hello,

I'm planning on building a timber frame on oak pillers as the foundation for a log cabin. However I just can't get my head around how I should be joining the frame together at the corners!

I'm going to double up on 6x2's around the perimeter and have 6x6 oak posts/stilts.

Do I fit the the frame on top of the pillers and screw them down onto the post or do screw or even bolt them to the side of the posts?

Sorry but I've been trying to look this up for hours!

Thanks in advance
