Making doorway between bedroom and bathroom

I want to make a single doorway with lintel between a 1st floor bedroom and bathroom to make it ensuite. The existing door from the landing won't change and the bathroom fixtures will be unaffected. The wall is single brick and not load bearing. 1930s property. Will I need to submit plans for Building regs approval?
