I have recently bought two different mains-powered outside lights. One is basically fairly lights on thin wire, the other is a commercial/heavy-duty one on fairly chunky cable (rated at 1200W max).

Both let you chain multiple sets together and have waterproof IP44 2-pin connectors looking a bit like this:

However they are different sizes, and also different sizes to some other outside fairly lights I have... they are all the same basic thing but differing sizes.

I can find extensions for one set but they are ~£3/m, the other I cannot see anything online. Are these plug/sockets likely to be some standard size/shape I can then search for a pre-made extension, or even make my own??
