I will be breaking into the attic soon and so will finally see my full height for the stairs. It should come to approx 3.11m.
Will it be a good idea to build my 1/2 landing first to see what the actual measurements are and then measure up after this. I would prefer to do it this way if poss.
Do howdens or magnet sell smaller flights ? I think i am going to need 7 risers on each flight. My height at the moment (on paper) is 145.5cm if i use a 170mm joist to make my half landing. It seems howdens stairs go up in 200mm so after 7 risers it will come to 140cm - 5.5 cm short.
Could i make my half landing 100mm deeper so taking out this measurement.
