2 strip lights in garage. Have removed one as it is in the way of where I have built a partition wall to make a utility room. Is there a quick way of maying this safe (permanently) other than dis connecting the wire at the other end and pulling it through?

Making safe a removed light

Ideally remove cable completely. If not then junction box on end of cable if it remains accessible. Remember to isolate safely before starting work.
