Hi all - new to the forum - amazing considering how much DIY i do. However, I have just purchased an inline extractor- Manrose MF100.

I have a fan already - as useful as a choccy teacup. It is isolated on a switch located outside of bathroom. The existing fan only operates when the bathroom light is on and switch is opened. Can i simply spur off this circuit with appropriate rated wire. IE perm live feed from light?, switched live from switch?

I would be extremely grateful for any expert advice.

Surely you mean closed?

Why not wire it in the same way that the existing one is?

Wire it as per the existing if that's going on and off when it should.
