Mark Bridger

FMT, I don't know what game you're playing, but if I found a pitbull with it's teeth into my child and a hammer was on the floor, I would beat the dog to death.

Not sure what point you're trying to prove?!

A pitbull? I thought we were talking about child killers?

No matter, the point is you have spilled your anger into a forum (nothing wrong with that) and made your intent that you would hunt down and kill such a perpetrator. Whilst it may be heart felt it is baloney.

I think it depends on the individual, there are a few bikers on this forum, how many were rockers, greasers or angels in the 60s and 70s, if you had no problem back in those fun times going round mod bashing then laying into a slime ball would cause no lack of sleep whatsoever.

Pred, please stick to the point which was that if a paedophile murdered the OP's child he would seek personal revenge in a murderous way.

Please demonstrate with examples when (in say the last 100 years) a parent of a murdered child has taken revenge on the the perpetrator. Yes there will be a few odd times but generally (ie 99.9%) revenge is not undertaken. How often are convicted paedophiles readily attacked by the parents of their victims upon their release from prison?

It is spoken of with bravado before such an event but not undertaken should the worst happen. I don't think you comprehend the effect of grief either.

Everybody would defend their family in a crisis but I don't think anybody would go round and commit cold-blooded murder in revenge; firstly most of us are too well socialised to murder and secondly the grieving parent knows very well that by taking revenge they would lose the moral high ground.

How often are convicted paedophiles readily attacked by the parents of their victims upon their release from prison?

Very rarely, I suppose, on account of their being given anonymity or their release date being kept secret.

Unlike some on here, I do believe in the death penalty when there is no doubt of guilt. Also, I have no children but if someone raped/murdered my wife I would kill them, or at least try to.

I know what you're going to say, Freddy!

freddy's right on the whole but it does happen. I recall not that long ago a father killing a drug dealer after his son died of an overdose. Can't remember his name but I think he was a young boxer. I would also bet it's a pretty common thing in the US.
