Marmite Drink Game... :)

When I was much younger (around 9) I maid a Marmite flavoured drink of just Marmite and water mixed together (About 1-2 table spoons of Marmite to about a mug of water) and gave it to my friend.

Lets just say the look on his face when he drank it was . Now I dare you all to make the same Marmite flavoured drink and post your reactions of drinking it here in video form.

Isn't that Bovril (almost)?

More or less. I think one has beef extract and the other is veggie. Still tastes the same though.

Bovril is Beef extract, Marmite is Yeast extract - completely different yet they just look the same & use same shape\colour jar.

Nostalgia...... after swimming lessons it was a cup of hot Bovril and a large biscuit in the pool cafe. I can't for the life of me remember the name of the biscuit. about 3 inches in diameter and a bit like a rich tea but with a coarser texture but not as crumbly as a digestive. But the Bovril is memorable

I remember those biscuits. Used to sell them in the tuck shop at primary school.

They were called Arrowroot . at least I am sure they were but it was almost 60 years ago.
