Hi
New to this. I have a pebbledash end of terrace house - 50m2 external surface area. Pics attached. Need a few cracks made good, masonry sealed then painted for protection from water & frost. I have two options:

1 - local painter & decorator using Sika Clear Masonry waterproofer & Valspar Masonry paint Approx £1500

2 - Home Logic (private company) using ProPerla Masonry Creme (link below) and then Masonry paint. Approx £3500

QUESTION:

Option two is twice the price however the Masonry Creme permeates the wall up to 1.7cm, unlike the water-based seal of option 1. and comes with a proper guarantee. Is option 2 worth doing? My end wall particularly needs to be entirely waterproof tbh.. Help - I have no idea! Are these new masonry cremes any good compared to the products like Thompsons Water Seal/Sika etc??

Thanks in advance
Dan

you mention water repellemts.

why is your wall wet?

is the gutter leaking?

is the render cracked?

find and repair the fault causing the damp first.

don't waste your time and money painting a wet wall.

I looked at the pics

your gutters are spilling.
