A small bit of mortar has come away between 2 bricks outside and ants have found their way in.
I want to plug the gap, but I'm not sure about how to match the mortar colour as its not the standard grey colour. Its a bit more beige.
Are there different colours you can buy out there, or do you need to mix something in with it?

is your house fairly new?

if so then it may be a readymixed batch.

these can come in all the colours of the rainbow, and its unlikely you will be able to get more of the same.

usually a trip to the local builders yard and a little experimentation with the different sands on offer, is the way to go.

just remember it will always dry a lighter shade than when first mixed.
