Most probably just steel wire but as for it's CSA ?????????

And i thought Verdigris was just a type of lamp argos sold!! for the material grab your knife and scrape through the crap and if its copper it'll be obvious otherwise i'd just put down unknown.
for the csa get your micrometer onto one of the strands, count the strands and do the maths.
