Matt emulsion over Zinsser GARDZ

I intend to seal/prime plasterboard, and some other areas skimmed with joint compound, with Zinsser GARDZ. My preferred topcoat would simply be a matt emulsion. Will matt emulsion adhere to the GARDZ properly? If not, what do I need to prime/seal with in order that a matt emulsion top coat can be used?

why not use leyland all purpose primer and emulsion on top much cheaper same results :wink:
