Maybe if we just knock that wall down.

You're doing a nice job of that Benway and I'm glad I came across your thread.
For the last 3 or so years I've been wanting to convert my conservatory into an orangery but haven't found the time as yet. You've inspired me to get it done now and some of your roof detail is very useful.
Can I ask you what you used as cladding at the top? Is that grey upvc?

Fascia is just UPVC - RAL 7016 to match the windows/doors. As it's a dark colour and will absorb more heat you need more fixings than white apparently, which does make it look a little "dotty" close up.

Screed installed, went for a cement based flowing screed. Not cheap, but less hassle as can be tiled onto directly.

Onto first fix plumbing and electrics. Kitchen ordered and delivered also. After visiting al the usual places about 3 times each went for IKEA in the end.

Progress has been slow, first fix electrics and plumbing seemed to drag. Finally being plastered.

3 ovens? Damn! I’m only installing 2. I’m going to redesign my kitchen and go for 4. Can’t be outdone on ovens.

Was cheaper to buy a third oven rather than a warming draw, and if you include the microwave OVEN still to fit that makes 4, so best go for 5.

Balls. Just 1...... Amount of time taken to build? 14 months and counting..... (Is longer better?!)

Mini digger got delivered 27th March 2017 so I'd say 1 year 4 months. Longer is always better!
