Hi my maytag model GS2928EEDW is not cutting out hence tripping Rcd in the CU.
So this morning i defrosted the freezer did all the necessary & switched it ON it was running for nearly 4
Hours & reached temp minus -20 and it would not cut out as it should do so i reduced the setting from 5 to
4 and the minute i did that it triped the RCD. On restart it has started to work & am sure it will go on without cutting out! Any help in identifying what parts i need to check to put this right will be much appreciated.
Thanking in advance
Ih
Ps.update
I am proved wrong it did cut out & restart without tripping RCD, keeping fingures x
But am still concerned about " why rcd tripped when i reduced the freezer setting from 5 to 4.?
Update 24hours
The fridge freezer is running as it should do with no tripping of rcd but i have not touched
the thermostat dial!
