mcb

I think the price will vary depending on the manufacturer, shop and everything else.

What make and type?, and which shop?

Are you a trade account holder, or a DIYer?

Where are you in the country?

How quickly do you need it?.......

<damn you spark123>

Which shop? Which MCB?

Wylex:

Jewsons, Sheds, Wickes around £9
Screwfix, TLC, good wholesaler with trade discount £4.50

Umm I wonder where I'll buy some breakers from......

Any particular reason for the question?

<I hate him too, and all his bloomin' Pitmans trained touch typist mates>

theres a famous saying:
it doesn't matter whether you win by an inch or a mile, winning is winning..

forgot to add:
seeing as you are from Liverpool and I am actually supporting them in the Champions League, I'll let you have this one as a good will gesture!!
AM I NOT MERCIFUL!!!

It worries me that you are specifying type 'B or C'. Do you know the difference? Do you understand the requirements for changing between them? Do you know what it is you actually want? Do you know how to change the MCB safely? Oh and if you are changing the circuit characteristics you might like to know that this work is notifiable...

The MCB will have the type and current rating on it e.g 'B40'.

I just gave you a link to order one from screwfix. I'm not sure how easy they are to get from the local sheds but why pay twice as much?
