I have a high gloss bath panel to fit to my new Whirlpool bath. This is the sort that comes in two pieces, one that is a chamfered around each edge panel and the other looks like a piece of plinth.
The height is supposed to be adjustable from 400mm to 550mm with three screws put though the plinth into the panel from behind.
The problem is I can`t quite see how this will fit to the bath,it doesn`t fit under the lip and doesn`t fit length wise because of the square panel edge and the curved edge in the corners under the lip.
Surely you haven`t got to cut away the finish on the MDF.
What is the correct proceedure to correctly fit one of these panels and how would it be secured at the top edge of the bath?

sorry to say but yes you may possibly have to cut panel to suit your bath.
You may also have to install a framework behind panel to secure top edge and bottom plinth.
i know it sounds daft but i have had to do plenty

likewise.
the type u desc still takes me about 2 hrs to fix !! (and i've done a few)
