MDF skirting/Architrave -will this shrink/expand?

Hi,

I've had all MDF skirting and architrave fitted, I've filled any gaps/holes.

Does the MDF expand/shrink in time to leave my filling/gaps a problem in the near future creating more work?

It will expand by thickness in a moist environment

A few coats of paint will seal out moisture and any problems.
