Hi,

I am new to this site and have a query regarding MDF primer use vs undercoat useage.

I have had some wardrobes installed in untreated MDF. The wardrobe maker advised me to use a standard primer on the cut surfaces, sand then primer over all surfaces. I have done this however this is the aspect i need advice on.

Instead of a primer I have used an undercoat due to a mixup at homebase.

Do i need to redo the undercoat with a primer after sanding or will the undercoat suffice?

Thanks in advance.
