Mdpe fitting developed slight leak

This fitting has developed as slight leak. Any chance it may just nip up?

Of course.
Spray it with silicone spray (furniture polish sometimes contains this) which will aid the nut to slip rather than drag the o rings.

Make sure you can isolate the supply though, in case it goes AOT.

Be gentle, nip just enough to stop the weep. Don't graunch it.
If it doesn't work, isolate. Dismantle. Check o rings. Regrease with silicone grease and reassemble.
 
So first bet is try to nip. If not take apart. Just hope the pipe isn't damaged as I can't cut it any further down is tight to the floor
 
Thanks I'm I correct in saying passon fittings are basically push fit? Notice they have an oring in there. Or does the compression of the nut help seal. Or is it really just to stop the fitting blowing off the pipe?
