I have just completed coving in the kitchen and utility room and so far looks fairly good, even if I do say so myself. The only thing was that I have spent quite a lot of time finishing the corners after a poor joint.

Practice will make perfect I suppose!

The question I have for the professional is: how do you measure and cut for length? I have found that when fitted as a single length it fits fine but is usually a bit tight when joined to another length at the corners. So, do you take the measured length and deduct a certain number of mm to get the perfect length?

I have the hall, stairs and landing to cove next so any help woul be appreciated.

Thanks in advance
