I had a Megaflo cylinder installed about a year ago.

It appears to have some sort of 'waste' pipe that ejects water/steam everytime the cylinder is in use.

The problem is that this pipe has been installed right against the outside wall of my house, so every time I turn the system on, it soaks the wall.

I am concerned that this will eventually damage the wall.

Is this a common problem with Megaflo systems, or something that I need to get fixed?

Sounds like you will need to recharge the internal air bubble in the cylinder. If you look at a the big label on the side of the cylinder it will tell you how to do it

Many thanks, it seems to have worked! It took about 15 minutes to drain in total.

The water now seems to have stopped discharging. It is hard to tell as the wall is marked where it has been coming out recently. The wall feels a little damp, but is not soaked as it was previously. :)

If you can't be bothered to watch the PRV outlet pull a normal party balloon over the end and wait a couple of days, the balloon will either contain water or be blown off completely if the PRV is venting.
