Was given a AVO Megger BM223 that someone had lying about in garage - all seems to be in good working order and was wondering if they are of any good and the type of tests they can be used for, got a long way to go still and am just starting to move onto testing so dont want to spend a fortune on equipment just yet.

It will do Continuity readings so it will check your main bonds and your R1+R2 of your circuits and your ring main end to end
And it will test insulation resistance between
