MEM Earth Clamps

Anyone tried these plastic quick fit earthing clamps? - came across them the other day apparaently made by, or for, Eaton MEM but I see no sign of them on the Eaton MEM website. Wonder about BS compliance as well.

Nice idea, but I cant see how the warning label is supposed to fix to the clamp. Surely it doesnt just slide over the cable and is left to chafe

I thought they looked neat, but heard from someone who has tried them that they are no good, I think the story was that more than half of them failed or broke.

You're right to be concerned about BS-951 because being plastic they don't comply, however that doesn't mean they can't be used.

They look really el-cheepo ........... What are you finding up wiv em ?

They're just plastic hose clips for securing flexible hose to barbs (which they don't do a good job of) with a hole in them. Horrid!
