I'm putting two flats back into one house. The electric is now all on one meter.

So there is now a spare meter drawing no current.

Do I contact Npower or Western Power to have this meter removed?

What are they likely to do?

Thanks

Contact your supplier, they'll come remove the meter and pull the main fuse and I would assume, take the tails out of the head.

If you want the head gone too, thats WPD and some £££

Are the meter tails in Henley blocks then?

In that case they'll just remove the meter back to the henley blocks I guess.

If you're luck you might be able to persuade the MOP to replace the tails back to the head, but you'll be lucky.

I had one recently changing a meter, wouldn't add a DP isolator (fitted, with tails ready to go), just told me to cut the seals and do it myself when he'd gone!
