hi Mexico super cf465 boiler problem . it runs for a couple of hours then cuts out leave it for a while and it restarts ive found that the ttb downdraft thermostat had a lot of soot on it Ive cleaned it and will see how it goes to morrow any ideas welcome

Boilers that have soot deposits do require expert attention to find the cause of the build up. As yours is an open flued boiler, I would strongly recommend a service call, and that you do not use it until it's checked for safety. Poor combustion is the main cause of sooting. Get yourself a carbon monoxide detector.
