Hi,
After having to remove my radiator to re-fix the bracket onto the wall I have found that the slight bending of the pipes has caused a leak.
I found the leak (which was running down the pipe onto the ground) last night and tightened it up the compression with mole grips. The leak has stopped running down the pipe but is still evident when I place toilet roll on the compression joint. Is there anything I can do without draining the system as the drain valve is very unaccessible.

thanks to anyone in advance

If the joint is now tight I would not try to tighten it any more as you could make it worse. If you dont want to drain down try Fernox external leak seal. Its a clear silicoln type mastic and works very well on small leaks
