I use mine all the time with no problems....it is a Rothenberger one that has a built in guide....some of the cheaper ones have no guide thus producing a crushed look.
the only time i use microbore for rads etc is using the harder table x stuff. it only comes in 3 meters like usual.but the end results are you get better runs and easier to bend, without the usual flatening.
I usually find that if you are using microbore, if you are careful, you can bend it as it is. Obviously bends can't be too tight, but if you keep moving the pipe as you bend, so that you're not bending in the same spot, its OK.
