Do these twin entry valves isolate the radiator on flow & return or just one side?
1 old brass one.
2 later chrome one.
If just one side then presumably its a system drain down.

the chrome one isolates both sides , but you need to remove the chrome cap and iside there is a screw that you turn down to close the return, the other one needs a drain down, both have insertion tubes that you will have to re-attach or the rad wont work when you put it back on

Not alone there Ian, hate it when I see them. There were 2 of them down in ayrshire tail end of last year, luckily the whole system was being ripped out, all nasty 8mm.
I always advise the customer to straight off replace them, only ever had one come out intact, that system was squeaky clean though.
