As part of a bathroom redecoration, Ive gotten rid of the massive thick and rusty radiator we used to have in there ... our house uses Microbore (8mm) piping, if I got a modern designer radiator or towel radiator, are microbore thermostats to connect to the standard rad easy to get ? I know the downstairs radiators dont run of microbore and run off what id call 'standard' radiator piping ? so I assume somerwhere my microbore system expands to thicker piping - is this a big no no or can it be done, and if so is it easier to do something similar in my bathroom to give myself a more compatable piping for a new rad?

your flow and return will be 22mm then a manifold down to 8mm micro.
you can change it to standard 15mm or just use reducers in your valves and keep the 8mm
