Micros Workstation 4

Hi, I have a Micros Workstation 4 system and I cant get it to boot, I have no idea how they work, operate or boot. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with these systems, do they require a HDD or are they slave systems that run over a network setting? If anyone could help me to get it working I would be so grateful.
