Microwave Turntable stopped

Hi

I have a Sharp R874 Microwave with turntable.

1 week after the guarantee runs out the turntable stopped turning. The central spindle comes out. Its about 30mm long and has a slot cut into the bottom which fits into the central hole over a male counterpart.

Can I araldite the spindle back into position? Need a special Glue?

Help me chips are only half cooking.

The spindle is removable for cleaning, far from makeing it work your more likely to gum up the works with glue and the chances of it fixing together are very slim because of grease build up.

I would never advise anyone Altering/Tampering with the mechanics of microwave ovens. Sorry.
