Miele Novotronic Premier plus won’t start

Our washing machine won’t start. The door switch lock seems to be registering because the green led starts flashing when the door is closed. However when the start button is pushed nothing happens. We managed to get it working once but seemed to be a one-off and now refuses to start.
We did a 60deg cotton wash this morning which we don’t normally do, and the fault occurred after. Any ideas?

SORTED. Answering my own post in case it helps anyone else - it was indeed the door switch. Watched some YouTube vids of how to get the front panel off and unplugged the door switch. When testing switch with a meter terminals 1 & 2 should be closed circuit when the lock is rolled over (door closed). There was however an unstable resistance so took switch apart to find dirty contacts. The switch components can be individually removed and cleaned with fine Emery. I also increased the tension of the switch contact slightly by bending the copper. No photos sorry but will be obvious if it’s taken apart. Hopefully this will last and won’t need a new switch for a while
