Y`know , the sequence that you originaly asked about is irrelevant to the joints holding up...particularly as the job was left for a couple of days........Hemp will always swell and take up .BUT there`s one trick that you can do on a joint IF it still weeps That`s get a piece of roofing slate and hammer it in the crack........between the pipe and fitting.........seen it done on 3inch ..........Now where did I put my pills
